Recently one of our neighbors had a house fire, the entire thing was gutted out, thankfully no one was hurt however these can happen very quickly and when you least expect it. This fire broke out at 2 am when most are sound asleep.
It never hurts to have a reminder since tragedies can strike rather quickly whether it is a flood, fire, hurricane or tornado. It is always better to be safe then unprepared. I've gone over this with my family so that everyone knows what to do in an emergency and what to expect. This lower part is from the Red Cross.
